“A Floating Night Market”

Appearing only at night, this Night Market uses planks and make-shift walkways to connect boats and barges into a floating, fantastical marketplace. Originally starting on the land, this marketplace stretches down to the docks and onto the floating shops and stalls themselves. Faerie and lantern lights dot the way to each mysterious shop; along with the gentle lapping of water against wooden walkways, this bustling attraction is an ideal romantic location.

Idea inspired in collaboration with Andrea Plain, my friend-in-crime.

A Floating Bookstore

With it’s entrance facing the back of the boat, and it’s building tucked in the lower deck, this floating bookstore is a hidden gem at the night market.

A Floating Bakery

Centered around it’s massive oven, this boat provides baked goods and sweets ranging from chocolates to cakes to tiny confectionaries. It’s massive size acts as a beacon in the Floating Market, and is central to the community it serves.

The Fortune Teller’s Boat

Decked in opulent fabrics and heavy draperies, this boat is shrouded in the mysteries of divination and the unknown. Come in for a fortune, and maybe you’ll find yourself star gazing on an endless ocean.
